After defeating North Korea 4-0 on Thursday to brighten its chances of qualifying from group E in the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, Flying Eagles promises a perfect comeback with over Hungary on Sunday morning.

The must-win match takes place at the Stadium Taranaki New Plymouth.

Flying Eagles, which lost its opening match 4-2 to Brazil on Monday, came back strongly with a 4-0 win of  North Korea to level on three points with Hungary, after the later lost 2-1 to Brazil.

Flying EaglesSaviour Godwin broke the deadlock for the team when he beat the oncoming keeper with a header and three minutes later the striker had his second after finishing a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Midfielder Kingsley Sokari took the game farther away from the Koreans with his 30-yeard rocket in the 71st minute before Success Isaac came off the bench to complete the rout with a fantastic finish.

Flying Eagles must beat Hungary to sustain its quest of winning the trophy, as a draw may dent the team’s hopes of qualify for the next round due to its inferior goal difference with Hungary. Nigeria is on +2 goal difference against Hungary’s +3 while Brazil with six points has sealed qualification for the round of 16.

Both teams could still qualify as one of the four best losers even if the match ends in draw.
