Eagles Land Kaduna For Egypt

The Super Eagles will today depart Abuja for Kaduna ahead of the March 25 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Information reaching Independent on Monday afternoon revealed that the players will depart for Kaduna on Tuesday (today) after their morning training session at the Abuja National Stadium, which will be open to the media.
However, the clash slated for Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna reports revealed was witnessing impressive arrival of foreign-based players who will join the six local players already selected by coach, Samson Siasia.
The arrivals as at the time of filing this report on Monday afternoon include Watford of England goal machine, Odion Ighalo and Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi, who has been talking tough that “Egypt must fall”.
Other players who have also arrived are Arsenal striker, Alex Iwobi, Turkey based Aminu Umar and Uniao da Madeira’s Abdullahi Shehu; in all five foreign players had made the Eagles camp as at Monday.
Meanwhile more players were being expected at lunch time of Monday as training was slated for 4pm.
The second leg of the encounter comes up March 29, 2016 in Alexandria, Egypt as a win for the Super Eagles at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium will see it dethrone the Pharaohs atop Group G table.
