A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma Oyibode, has congratulated General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the last Presidential poll.

Oyibode is one of PDP chieftains who contested the party’s governorship primaries with Okowa in Delta State.

He advised the President-elect to remain focused, more dedicated and resolute to take every part of the country as one big family irrespective of tribe and religious affiliations.

He further described the victory of the Buhari at the poll as a divine mandate from God. Oyibode urged politicians to always believe in God at all times while pursuing their individual ambition.

Oyibode, an Abuja based business man, prayed to God to give the President-elect a sense of direction and long life to lead the country alright.

He commended Nigerians for their wisdom and patriotism in electing Buhari in a most peaceful, credible and fair election in the history of the country.

He assured Nigerians that better days are ahead of them with Buhari as the pilot of the nation.

He also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for organising a credible election and his spirit of sportsmanship in conceding defeat to the President-elect.

Oyibode described Jonathan’s response to the election outcome as being alien to the black world while wishing him and his entire family God’s divine presence for him to accomplish his mission to Nigerians.
