Dead Kids In Church Premises: Pastor Demands Autopsy

Pastor Festus Adewole, the General Overseer, Christ Crusaders Deliverance Ministries, Akute, Ogun state has called on the police to carry out an autopsy and thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of two children, who were found inside a car at his church camp ground on Tuesday, April 5.

Independent recalled that the corpses of the dead kids, 6-year-old Isaac Ayegbo, a primary 2 pupil and Ayomide Innocent, a 4-year-old Nursery 1 pupil, who were declared missing on Sunday last week was recovered at the church premises.
Speaking through Pastor Yemi Adebisi, the public relations officer of the church, Pastor Adewole, advised the police to ensure that proper autopsy is conducted on the corpses of the children to determine the actual cause of their death.
The General Overseer said that some church members discovered the corpses of the dead kids after the night vigil at the church camp ground inside a broken down Nissan at the premises of the camp ground.
He added that he instructed his members to report the matter to the police.
Pastor Adewole added that his church is not aware of how and when the corpses of the children got inside the premises of the campground.
Police sources in Ogun state disclosed that one Babalola, the resident pastor of the church, and Adewale Babalola, owner of the broken down car, who were arrested when they went to report the case to the police were still in detention.
Muyiwa Adejobi, Ogun police image maker could not be reached as at the time of filling this report, but a police source said that it is likely that the case will be transferred to Ogun state Police Command headquarters at Eleweran for more discreet investigations.
