The leadership of Cross River State House of Assembly has solicited the cooperation and understanding of journalists in the state as it sets out to embark on the legislative duties for the 8th assembly in the state.

The newly elected Speaker of the Assembly, John Gaul Lebo, made the appeal at his maiden interactive forum with journalists led by the state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Pastor Ndoma Akpet, at the Assembly complex.

According to him, “The legislature under my watch in Cross River will make laws that would bring transformation to our state and this cannot be achieved by fighting the executive. The best way to maintain the integrity of the house is to maintain the history of synergy and

Performance, which is a common factor in Cross River State”.
