This year’s edition of Corporate Challenge Cup at the Ikeja Golf Club is billed for Saturday September 18 and 19, 2015 at the ten-hole course in Lagos.

The Captain of the club, Commodore Tokunboh Ajomale, said that the event was one of the key activities on the club’s calendar, which presents a platform for participating organisations to showcase their brands to the community of golfers present.

“The event is a huge traffic driver for the club and the entry so far has given the hint of a bigger representation. Like in the past, we believe it will usher in stronger ties between the participating organisations,” he said.

Some of the corporate bodies that have raised the four-member team that would do battle over the weekend includes ICMA Services, Alpha Pharmacy, Adeco Project Engineers, Berger Paints and 7Up Bottling Companies

Others are Jungle Film Works, Grand Treasures, Consolidate Hallmark Insurance PLC, Sterling Bank Plc, Digital Media Limited, Ubosi Eleh and Co, Prime Prime Metro Properties, Oak Pension and Prime Metro UK.

The event, which will feature about 120 players according to Victor Enosegbe, the Competition Secretary, would be contested for over 36 holes in stableford playing format and about thirty teams are expected to tee-off for the Challenge.
