A community leader, Prince Olusegun Aderemi has expressed optimism that the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration would bring about the needed change in Nigeria.

Aderemi, the Atayero of Aramoko- Ekiti hinted that the steps taken so far by the new administration had rekindled the hope of an average Nigeria and the entrepreneur sector, which he belongs.

Speaking to a cross- section of journalists in his residence in Aramoko at the weekend,Aderemi noted that the country had been weigh-down by impunity in virtually all the sectors of the economy hoping that Buhari would reverse the ugly trend.

Lamenting the precarious situation of the entrepreneurship sector in the past,Aderemi was hopeful that with the emplacement of sanity the sector would flourish .

“I trust the new administration being led Muhammadu Buhari ,because I believe there would be sanity.Past problems confronting this country have been linked to impunity.Nigeria is in safe hand .This is change we are all clamouring and we must be prepare to support this government. I can beat my chest that Buhari would create an oasis of sanity in this country”.

“It is a change that everybody should embrace. As an entrepreneur,I know what we have suffered under the immediate past government. But going through the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress(APC) ,I would say better days are ahead.” he said.

On security,Aderemi lauded the relocation of the military base from Abuja to Maiduguri as a major step in finding a lasting solution to the worrisome incidences of insurgencies in some past of the country ,adding that very soon the problem would be surmounted .

He also  suggested a more practical approach to the financial crisis confronting Ekiti calling stakeholders to identify the gaps .

According to him,no government can successfully bailout a state unless its citizens come together and think about a way forward.” there have been issues in Ekiti and I think it is high time people of likes minds come together and think about way forward. The major problem confronting us as a state is that we are not enterprising. We must not rely on Federal Allocation alone and expect that we can move the state forward,”he noted .
