The Arch Bishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province of the Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Dr Emmanuel Chukwuma, has forecasted that Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, would quarrel with his wife if they move into the Government House.
Chukwuma made this forecast at the burial ceremony of former First Lady of Enugu State, Nnenna Agnes Nnamani, the deceased estranged wife of former Governor, Senator Dr Chimaroke Nnamani.
Since assuming office on May 29, this year till the time this report was filed (November 27), Governor Ugwuanyi of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been operating from his private residence at Zoo Estate Enugu.
Tongues have been wagging in the state while Governor Ugwuanyi should be living in his private residence while the gigantic Enugu Government House where his predecessors lived has remained desolate without any occupant.
Archbishop Chukwuma however gave an insight into this riddle at the burial ceremony when he warned about a powerful demon residing inside the Enugu Government House, which was targeting the Governors and their wives.
The Cleric observed that Ugwuanyi and the wife loved themselves so much and that once they moved into the Government House, the demon would destabilize them.
He recalled that all the former Governors of the State who lived in the Government House separated from their wives before the end of their tenures.

Chukwuma, who cautioned Ugwuanyi against moving to the Government House, said plans should be made to demolish the government house or “chase the demon away.”

The cleric said such problem was not the fault of the Governors and their wives but that of the demon.

Turning to politicians in Enugu State, Chukwuma reminded them that they were all products of the Ebeano family.

Although he urged Dr Nnamani not to repay evil with evil, he called on all the politicians, who had abandoned him to apologize and reconcile with him.

He used the opportunity to laud Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi over his policies in the State, identifying some on-going road projects and the policy against ‘Baby Factories’ as very ideal to the life of the people.

Also speaking, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu applauded Chimaroke for raising so many political leaders in the State.

Ekweremadu, who stood behind Nnamani while he rendered a tribute to his wife, said “he has done so much for all of them and gave them the opportunity to express themselves and God blessed his effort on them.”
Other dignitaries who attended the burial included former Deputy Governors, Okey Itanyi and Sunday Onyebuchi, and many other politicians in the State.
