Rev. Felix Omobude, president of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), has called on the church and all Nigerians to support the anti-corruption drive of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
Omobude made the call while speaking to Independent in an interview  in Benin City, Edo State, on Saturday.
He stated that the church needs to give spiritual and moral support to the federal government in its quest to ensure that corruption is reduced to the barest level. He also urged Nigerians to purge themselves of all things that can engender corruption and position themselves in the right direction to move the nation ahead.
On the state of the economy, Omobude advised government to first of all carry out research, using technocrats and professionals, to unravel the cause of the present economic downturn and come up with viable solutions to the problem.
The PFN president declared that it was time to diversify Nigeria’s economy and make agriculture a viable option for development.
