Pastor Nureni Alabi, an author and preacher under the ministry of Decross Gospel Mission, founded by Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, has advised Christians to cultivate healthy and cordial relationship with Muslims.
The author, who also is a mechanical engineer made this known at the official presentation of his three books: “Jesus Of The Holy Qur’an,” “The Second Coming Of Christ By Holy Qur’an and Hadith” and “The Islam Christians Must Know” at the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) Guest House, Palmgrove Estate.
Passing his message across to Christians, he told Independent Sunday that:  “The matter is that Christians should get close to Muslims and understand Islam. In the first instance biblically, Muslims are our brothers.  Christians should know them, help them and with relate us. If Jesus did not relate with us what do you think we would have been?”
Alabi, who used to be a Muslim and was dressed like one at the event, said it is easier to relate with people when dressed like them or when you speak similar language with them.
Commenting on his first book, “Jesus of the Holy Qur’an”, he stated that: “The purpose of writing this book is to call the reader to consider making a paradigm shift, specifically to start to view reality from a new perspective, from the position of commitment to Jesus Christ.”
On the second book, “ The Second Coming Of Christ By Holy Qur’an and Hadith”, he said he wrote it to help loyal and open-minded Muslims remove the confusion in interpreting the person of Jesus and the purpose of His second coming.
While on the third, “The Islam Christians Must Know,” he stressed the need for Christians to have the knowledge of Islam, if indeed they are prepared to obey the command of going into the world to preach the gospel.
Meanwhile, Evangelist Obey-Fabiyi,  Rev (Dr.)Fred Odutola, Former BSN Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer alongside other ministers  who were present at  the occasion lauded the effort and courage of  Alabi in his mission works and pursuing the course of the gospel in an usual way.
