It was celebration galore at the national secretariat of All Christian Leaders/ Ministers’ Forum (ACLMF) in Lagos on Friday as they came out in large numbers during the monthly meeting to celebrate the victory of the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, and his vice, Professor Yeti Osinbajo, in the March 28 election.

In his welcome address, the national president of ACLMF, Rev. Sam Ogedengbe, praised God for making the election day peaceful even against bad and scary predictions that made people jittery of what would be the outcome of the election and faith of millions of Nigerians.

Ogedengbe also expressed appreciation to the forum’s members for coming out en masse to cast their vote for the peoples’ choice, adding that the voice of the people is the voice of God.
He implored all Christians not to rest on their oars but to intensify efforts in ensuring that the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, Akinwumi Abode, also emerge as the governor so as to continue the dividends of democracy initiated by former governor Bola Tinubu and continued by Governor Babatunde Fashola in the state.

“Let me express my profound gratitude to all Christians, especially members of ACLMF, for standing solidly behind Buhari/Osinbajo and their eventual victory. Meanwhile, we should not rest on our oars but let’s ensure we give our total support to Akinwumi Abode, so as to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy and good works of Governor Babatunde Fashola,” Ogedengbe said.
