Four officials of Edo State Government and others arrested for alleged cult activities would be charged for terrorism by the police.

A source close to the police headquarters who pleaded anonymity, confided to our reporter that arrangements were already ongoing to arraign those arrested for terrorism s directed by the IGP who was said to be poised to use his home state, Edo as a case study in his fight against heinous crime.

The state Chairman, Committee on War Against Indiscipline, Mr. David Olukoga, and three others were among those arrested on Wednesday by a special squad of the Nigeria Police Force dispatched from Abuja by the IGP.

The suspects were arrested on alleged complicity and murder of 10 Nigerians in the last one month in Edo State.

However, Edo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Stephen Onwochie said investigations are still ongoing, adding that if the suspect are to be charged, it would be based on the outcome of investigation.
