The police ban on procession came as collation of results of the state governorship election from the local government areas  entered day two on Monday.

The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) in charge of security in the state governorship poll, Hashimu Argungu, and made available to newsmen at the Yenagoa Council City Hall, venue for the results collation exercise.

The command said that information at its disposal indicated that some disgruntled elements were planning to take to the streets.
