Ayila’s benevolence  to Mecca-bound Muslims

Super Eagles and Dynamo kyiv Defensive midfielder, Yusuf Ayila who, has set up a foundation for the less privileged that will also help Muslims who need assistance in travelling to the holy land, Mecca.



The Yusuf Ayila Foundation (YAF), which has been around for years helping the less privilege, through  scholarships, foods, shelter among other needs.

The 28 year old player is one of the most quiet footballer in the Nigerian Team. He has also maintained a calm performance in the midfield since he made his debut in the Super Eagles team in 2005. He has played in two Nations Cup tournaments and he won a bronze medal at each he is a strong defensive mid-fielder albeit with a deceptively small stature.

The wonderfully gifted footballer is so loved by many artistes most especially in the Yoruba movie industry the likes of Soji Taiwo, Wole Cole to mention a few benefits from his philanthropic gesture in their careers. The Oyo State born open hearted footballer gives generously to these artistes and supports them in their own career.

Yusuf Ayila Foundation (YAF) as it is called is run personally by the footballer and so far it has done so well in the life of many and intends to do more in the lives of others not yet touched by him.

The foundation hopes to keep up with his good work and also the hopes to spread as far as it can go, as the lives of those already touched have been singing the paraises of the wonderful and kind hearted footballer.

Yussuf is a professional football player. His main asset is his versatility, as he can play as a central defender or defensive midfielder. He played for Ukrainian Premier League side Metalist Kharkiv on loan from FC Dynamo Kyiv.
