Army holds two-day manpower development study

The Directorate of Combat Development of Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Nigerian Army, Minna, has concluded arrangements for her two-day study period scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The study period with the theme, ‘Manpower Development for Efficient and Effective Service Delivery’, is aimed at enhancing operational readiness of Nigerian Army, particularly in a contemporary Nigeria.

A statement signed by the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Lt. Col. Omale Ochagwua, said the two-day programme will be declared open by Commander, TRADOC, Maj-Gen. Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin.

It stressed that resource persons for the programme, drawn from the Nigerian Army headquarters, Abuja and the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, are expected to deliver lectures on relevant topical issues.

It added that with prevalent security challenges, the Nigerian Army will continue to evolve new strategies towards meeting the contemporary security issues bedeviling the country and in line with global best practices.

Participants drawn from other military formations and paramilitary agencies within Minna, Niger State capital will, among others, attempt to unravel the mystery of ‘Threat to National Security, Cyber Security and Management of Combat Stress’ during the study period, the statement said.
