The burial of the late president of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN), Tima Animashaun, takes place today at her family home in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
A statement from LGAN revealed that the burial arrangement is being coordinated by the family in conjunction with LGAN executive members, which include Zulu Omo-Ikerodah, LGAN South West Zonal President.

Others members of the committee are Ekanem Ekwueme, Zonal Vice President, North and Joko Olunloye who is a former president of LGAN.
However, the burial ceremony started on Wednesday March 30, 2016 with the Service of Songs; Thursday March 31 was the Wake Keep, while Friday April 1, 2016 is the internment.

Meanwhile, eulogies have continued to pour in from the golf fraternity and other members of the public; LGAN executives described Animashaun as very kind, respectful, amiable and humane and advocate of peace which she preached to all the ladies till she took her last breath.

Also, Emy Ekong, a past LGAN President and presently Director of Youth Development, Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) who said that she was still to recover from the shock of Animashaun’s death described her as a very hard working lady who had a very tall dream to transform the association to a greater height.

Records have it that Animashaun was in February confirmed the Oversea Vice President, Ladies Golf Union at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which held in Leeds, United Kingdom (UK).
