Abia APGA Kicks Against Suspension Of Minority Leader

Respite came the way for the suspended member representing Aba Central at the Abia State House of Assembly and the Minority Leader of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) at the State House of Assembly, Abraham Oba, following the intervention of his Party leadership which described his suspension as disappointment to the people of the State.

It will be recalled that Recall that the State House of Assembly had last Tuesday suspended  Oba and was asked to stay away from proceedings in the hallowed chambers because he granted a press conference on Tuesday along with other aggrieved members to speak on the N30 billion loan the state

However, when contacted to comment on his suspension, Oba refused to speak while directed our reporter to contact the Party’s leadership to comment on the matter.

Speaking on the suspension of its House member, the APGA State Secretary, Sunday Onukwubiri told Daily Independent that the stand of the suspended minority leader was in defense of the mandate of the people that voted him into office.

According to the State Party Scribe, the leadership of the Party was at the moment studying the situation at the State House of Assembly as to come up with a definite position on the matter.
