The return leg of the All African Games qualifier is billed for Sunday afternoon in Lusaka after the first leg in Abuja ended in a goalless draw.

Simukonda, who has his full complement of invited players for this epic clash, said, “Nigeria can’t come here and beat us in Lusaka, we are ready for Nigeria we can even play them right now.”

While Coach Samson Siasia has only one foreign-based player, Atanda Sodiq Ololade of Fk Apollonia Albania at the Abuja camp for the crucial match, a reliable source close to the Zambian team informed they have full strength for the second leg.  “Zambia U-23 team’s camp is bubbling.”

“Red Arrows midfielder Bruce Musakanya, who missed the first leg in Nigeria due to injury, is fully fit and in camp. Bloemfontein Celtic of South Africa midfielder Mukuka Mulenga who was not released for the first leg is in camp already.

“The players who played for Power Dynamos and Zesco United in continental games are here too. The spirit is high. Egyptian side’s Wadi Degla striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba is also in camp.”

The other professionals coach Simukonda is awaiting are Israeli-based centre forward Emmanuel Mbola and Evans Kangwa, and midfielder Mukuka Mulenga who plays for South African side Bloemfontein Celtics. The team, which trained in the rain at Heroes Stadium, is enjoying a clean bill of health and Simukonda is optimistic that the inclusion of the four players will add value to the preparations.
