A New Rebirth For Fidelity

Fidelity Bank Plc, one of the leading banking institutions in Nigeria, has unveiled a new logo to usher in a new phase of direction to its teeming customers across the country.

The new logo, which came with green, white and blue colours is a redesigned identity of the bank to arrest the minds of young audience across the country.

According to the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, the blue colour of the logo signifies the rich solid background of the bank; the green reflects the growth project and forward looking while the white shows purity to give encompassing business model.

“With increasing globalization and technology, Fidelity is set out to appeal to over 73 million youths in Nigeria with its social media platform,” he said.

He explained that there was the need for the bank to rebrand now to show its new commitment to excellence, adding, “Our brand must constantly mean something to every shareholder. We must constantly evolve to remain relevant in the market.”

Okonkwo stated that the process of redesigning of the logo started with training and reorientation of Fidelity staff whom he described as real professionals and some of the most competent hands in the banking sector.

He noted that recently the bank was adjudged the best employer’s bank in Nigeria and that it would not relent in its search to always please its customers.

The highlight of the event was a clip show of the “Tough Job” an advert that would soon begin to run in the electronic media.
