Shooting Stars beat Kano Pillars 1-0 in a reschedule league match at Ibadan on Wednesday compounding the visitors woes.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 10th minute by Junior Ajayi.

The game was certainly a tensed game for the Oluyole Warriors fighting hard for all the three points to ease the relegation worries looming ahead.

However, reports say it was an end to end battle, but the 3SC looked more deadly in search for the winning goal.

In the second half, Shooting Stars began the game on a high spirit searching for the second goal, which it failed to get.

But Abiodun Akande saved Shooting Stars after he stretched to tip away Rabiu Ali’s point blank shot towards the end of the game.

The tempo of the game went down as the Oluyole Warriors reverted to a defensive tactic which paid off as the game finally ended 1-0 to lifting the Ibadan side from the drop zone.
