£397m Worth Players On Parade At Old Traford Today

Lagos – Jose Mourinho, Manchester United manager, and Pep Guardiola, Manchester City boss will today match out today at Old Traford players with the combined worth of £396 .8 million.
Mourinho and Guardiola will be meeting for the 17th time in their coaching career during today’s clash, which will kick off at 12.45p.m. In their 16 encounters, Guardiola holds the ace, having won seven times, drew six and lost three times.
But the setting today may be different from what it used to be, both are now at Manchester, where they are close neighbours, coaching in the most glamorous league in the world, the English Premier League (EPL).

While United spent £157.25 million, City spent £168,850,000 during the summer transfer window.
Some of these players who are expected to be on parade today include United’s world record signing, Paul Pogba, purchased at £89.3 million, from Juventus of Italy. There is also Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 31; who joined United as a free agent fro, Paris Saint Germaine (PSG). United also purchased Ivoirien international, Eric Baily at £30 million pounds from La Liga side, Villarreal.
City are expected to feature 22-year-old England international bought from Everton, John Stones, at £47.5m.
Also to watch are, 20-year-old Germany’s Leroy Sané, purchased at £36m from FC Schalke; Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, purchased at £26 from Palmires; Germany’s 25-year-old Ilkay Gündogan purchased at £20m from Dortmund years and Spain’s 29-year-old Nolito who was got from from Celta Vigo at £13.8m.
Total Sportek also revealed that Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho are by far the highest paid managers in the world. Pep Guardiola is paid £15 million a year in a three year contract, while Jose Mourinho’s three year deal will cost United £13.8 million a year.
The Portuguese has some clauses inserted into his three-year deal according to a Portuguese outlet, Correio De Manha, as he will earn an eye-watering bonus of £15.25 million if he could win the club’s fourth European Cup.
