Experts in the entertainment industry have scored The Temple Management Company (TMC), high.
This comes following the company’s launch of a full-service talent agency aimed at bridging the gulf between the Nigerian corporate space and the burgeoning creative and entertainment sector.
In its short period in the entertainment industry, having begun operations in Nigeria in March, TMC founded by Idris Olorunnimbe has achieved quite a lot, signing management deals with enviable names such as Mavin Records; renowned disc jockey DJ Jimmy Jatt; award-winning visual artist and writer Victor Ehikhamenor; media personality Bunmi Davies; artist/jeweller Mode Aderinokun and the doyen of Nigerian broadcast media, Funmi Iyanda.
After signing the deal with TMC weeks back, Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, said, “We are stepping into the future with The Temple Management Company as they redefine creative talent management in Nigeria.”Speaking in a chat with Klieg Light, Idris, who doubles as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), TMC sums up the vision of the company as thus: “With the constant expansion of the entertainment industry and growth of sporting activities, our vision is to remain the leading African talent and event management outfit, representing the biggest talents in entertainment, sports, media, the arts and other relevant areas.”
Furthermore, he said, “Our focus is now to expand the recruitment of agents to create a new enduring institution in this country.”
TMC’s main focus is on the core functions of talent representation, but will also partner with corporate organisations to also provide a wide range of financial and advisory services, manage endorsement portfolios, and package bespoke events for domestic and international markets.
